Description
These mortars and matching pestles were originally made in Stoke on Trent for laboratory use. Classically used for pharmaceutical use, the mortar and head of the pestle are made of porcelain with a wooden handle. The dense non-absorbent porcelain is ideal for crushing and grinding medium quantities of herbs and spices in the traditional manner.
