Inspired by the original Boos BlocksButcher Block. The 1887 Collection Walnut Rustic Edge Chopping board is made from a single piece of natural hardwood with a rustic edge. Each has natural variations including distinctive growth rings which make each board unique, aesthetically full of character. They are NSF certified and bear the seal of approval for food safety.
Made of premium quality renewable and sustainable harvested North American Hard Walnut and are easy to main with oil or cream to guarantee a long life. Each Boos board is treated with Beeswax and gives it a soft creamy finish.
About Boos Blocks
John Boos and Co’s journey start in 1887 when they created what would later be called the Butcher Block. The innovation started as a round sycamore block with 3 legs that blacksmith Conrad Boos was using in his own blacksmith workshop. After creating one for the local butcher a culture of unsurpassed quality customer centric craftsmanship was born.
