Hailing from the renowned knife/sword city of Seki, we bring you the beautiful Yaxell Zen knives. This word means the most healthy meals in Japanese. Zen has a VG10 stainless steel cutting core with a super hardness of HRC61 on the Rockwell scale. The knives in the series have a 37-layer blade with a simple Damascus steel pattern with hammered marks on the upper part and its Japanese name stamped on it. The black Canvas-Micarta handle is attached with two stainless steel rivets. It is a good-looking knife that delivers long lasting cutting performance. Like all the ranges of the Japanese Cutler Yaxell, the Zen knife series impresses by its quality and design.

During production, Yaxell knives go through a very stringent process in which the blade is heated in a kiln at extreme temperatures, then ice hardened before its placed in high heat a second time to ensure the blade is durable, strong, and guaranteed to offer top long-lasting performance. This type of special production process also makes the knifes blade corrosion-resistant.
