Back by popular demand the Hobie 14& 16 jib traveler car for the external jib traveler track. Hobie stopper making them so we started making them. This is the original system used on all Hobie 14s and on Hobie 16s up until 1994. In 1994 It was replaced when Hobie made front crossbars with an integrated internal jib track that is recessed into the front crossbar. This Hobie 16 jib traveler car features a stopper pin on to manually move and place the car on the track, but it can also be used with a jib traveler control system.

Ronstan continued making these until they discontinued it in 2019 and replaced it with their Series 19 car and track. Do not get the version of this with the black plastic base unless you have replaced your traveler track with a Ronstan Series 19 track.

This is the quickest, easiest and least expensive way to revive your old traveler car with a worn out sheave.
