Leach Pottery Medium Bowl – Dolomite

Each bowl in the Leach Pottery Collection are hand made and completely unique. Each piece is reduction fired and hand-finished. The creamy white Dolomite glaze is named after the high percentage of the mineral dolomite in the mix. Iron in the clay body comes through, lending the glaze a hint of blue.

Founded in 1920 by Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada, the Leach Pottery is among the most respected and influential studio potteries in the world. Bernards legacy continues to this day by making handcrafted Leach Standard Ware and individual pieces whilst training the next generation of potters in their historic pottery nestled away in St Ives.
