The maximum oven-safe temperature is 260C and a distance of 6.5cm should be maintained between the top of the item and the heating element.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
The recommendations for care and use apply to all Le Creuset Stoneware products.

BEFORE FIRST USE:
Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the stoneware products in hot soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.

DO NOT:
Dont use any piece on cooker hobs or any other direct heat source.

OVEN USE:
Maximum oven temperature 260C / 500F. Use oven mitts for lifting at all times.

GRILL / BROILER:
When using under a grill/broiler allow a gap between the rim of the dish and the heat source of no less than 6 _ cm / 2 _ inches.

MICROWAVE:
Handles may become hot during prolonged microwave use and especially if the handles are enclosed with cling film. Cover just the open top of the dish leaving the handles exposed.

FREEZER TO OVEN USE:
Do not place a frozen dish of food in a pre-heated oven. Place the frozen dish in a cold oven and set the temperature, allowing the dish and oven to heat together. Before serving always check that the centre of the food is completely and uniformly hot.

CLEANING AND CARE:
Remove all packaging and labels. Wash your Stoneware in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Freezer and oven compatible ranging temperatures from -23C to 260C. When cooking from frozen, place frozen Stoneware dish into a cold oven, and allow the two to heat together. Always use oven gloves when handling hot products. Allow product to cool before cleaning. If washed too quickly thermal shock may occur, resulting in cracking. Not suitable for any hob type. Handwash recommended. Dishwasher safe. If soaking is required, fill the dish up with warm soapy water. Do not submerge into water for soaking.
