If you don’t like using large knives in the kitchen but still need to prepare a wide variety of different raw ingredients then this Utility knife could be the perfect choice for you as it retains much of the strength and versatility of a full-sized chef’s knife. Although it won’t be suitable for cutting some large root vegetables, the deep blade will make light work of carrots, parsnips, potatoes, and red meat while the slender point is ideal for fine dicing.

The Kizuna Series from Kyocera is their premium line and the ceramic blade is made at temperatures up to 1500C and at pressure up to 2000 bar. This means that the blades and extremely sharp and stay that way for longer. The blade is then finished with a traditional sand-wave pattern. The handle is made from an ergonomically shaped Pakkawood handle and feature stainless steel rivets and details.
