Description

The Shinwa Japanese Miter Rule is a combination square with a 90 try square and a 45 miter square. Because the size of the tool matches the width and thickness of a 2×4, its a snap to scribe 90 and 45 angles on your lumber. Clever markings make it easy to divide the lumbers thickness into equal halves (for lap joints), thirds (for bridle joints), or quarters (for finger joints). In addition, guides are included for even marking of screw holes, and handy measurements in 1/16″ go down the length of three sides. It is specifically designed for use with 2×4 and 4×4 lumber projects, so it is commonly used to build outdoor projects constructed with standard dimensional lumber.
