Ceramic-bladed slicers are superb for fast and accurate slicing of all foods, but are particularly well-suited for fruits and vegetables. Because there is no interaction between the ceramic and the food, the oxidisation process that can quickly result in discolouration and browning doesn’t take place. So an apple sliced by a ceramic slicer will stay looking colourful and fresh long after one sliced with a steel blade will have started to brown.

This wider-bladed sliced will easily cope with larger vegetables such as courgettes, potatoes and cabbages. Includes a hand guard to keep food held safely during slicing and fingers well away from the blade.
