Description
Robert Sorbyhas been producing woodworking hand tools for over 200 years. Theyfirst producedhandsaws back in the early 1900s under the Kangaroo brand, andin 2023 havereintroduce them.
The line currently includes three traditionalsaws:22PanelSaw, 12 TenonSawand the 8 DovetailSaw.
The PanelSawis taper ground and has 10tpi. Universal teeth for general use, cutting across the grain to give a finer finish than larger toothed handsaws.
The Tenonsawis designed for cutting smaller tenons in furnniture and cabinetry. Thesesawscan be used on hard and soft woods. The 13tpi allows you to have more control over the depth and direction of the cut you are making.
The Dovetailsawhasathinner blade with many small teeth. It is designed forsmall, very precise cuts, typically in joint making including dovetail and small tenon joints.
